“Be aware the parking for this location is public parking and may not be available. If you are walking, the center of town is approximately a 20 minute walk and you share the road with vehicles. There is a walking lane, but at times there are drivers who drive close to pedestrians as well as areas where the walking lane ends. There are 2 roads to drive in and out of the area, I'd recommend inquiring about the route that is wider. The apartment had everything we might require and we were provided...

“Beautiful spot, but difficult to access without a rental car. We were travelling on foot/train/bus and we had to rely solely on the 2 or 3 taxis in the township. The walk was ok downhill, but very arduous going back (We're in our 70's). We chose Varenna as it much more affordable than Ballagio, and the views are simply breathtaking. With a car, this would have been perfect, but we also found that the locals were very accommodating and actually took us home in their own vehicles a few...

“We booked a double room & private bathroom, toiletries, laundry , air conditioning & coffee making facilities. We had to share a bathroom with 2 other apartments , a sofa bed vs a double bed & there were no toiletries & actually no toilet roll, a fan & no air conditioning & no laundry facilities .we also had an issue checking in , initially they had no record of our booking & told us it had been through Expedia ?? We tried to escalate to Hotels.com but they don’t read the emails properly ! ”

“Really lovely accommodation! The views were amazing and the apartment had everything you required. The location was perfect and not far from all restaurants We would definitely stay here again if visiting lake como!”

The balcony was so peaceful and beautiful but we only sat outside early mornings or late evenings...which was ruined by the heavy smokers below us. 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 nights was ridiculous. FYI kitchen soap behind trash can. Unfortunately, the bed and pillows were not comfortable. ”

The location was great and easy walking distance to almost everything and the unit had everything we needed. The area felt very safe, even at night. We did find free overnight parking about ten minutes away (walking) which worked out well. It even had a bit of a lake view as well!”

The view from the apartment is breathtaking. The location is in Fiumelatte, a 20-ish minute walk to Varenna which we were happy to do every day.
