I was a little leary when I seen the neighborhood this was in. Graffiti on the walls of the buildings down the block. But turns out, the neighborhood was amazing. Kate our host was exceptional! She helped us with everything and got us settled in, she even arranged rides for us when we were stuck in unknown areas and couldn't find a cab. I can't thank her enough. This is a small fabulous hotel close to Ciampino airport. For our last night l, I wanted one more taste of Italy - this is a winner. The hotel is exposed beams, charming details and genuine Italian people. The restaurant next door was the surprise, incredible food and an old wine cellar converted to a fabulous taverna. Wine by the pitcher and portions that are large by American measures. It was an incredible last evening in Italy.
