Hotel could use some inexpensive modern updates, but it’s otherwise perfectly comfortable and good value for downtown Vancouver. The surrounding area is a mix of things, but it’s a short walk or Yaletown and close access to False Creek to take the harbour bus to Granville Island.

The staff was nice and it was lovely that we were able to choose between a street view room or a more quiet room. This place doesn’t offer free breakfast but they have a connecting pub that offers a discounted breakfast option. The surrounding area isn’t the best since it’s quite dirty but at least the location is in downtown Vancouver.
