Fawlty Towers, India version.
Not sure how to rate this hotel. The decor was ok if dated, 1970's. Service was good as long as the waiters remembered what you ordered. Getting the room serviced was a bit hit and miss. They have a door hanger, on one side "Do not disturb" on the other "Service my room". Well the "Do not disturb" worked.
I had a meal that came to R1300, about£13, tried to pay with a R2000 note and neither the restaurant nor the hotel could give me change.
Reception seemed to be run by a woman who kept giving instructions to 3 guys. Well I was just waiting to hear the shout "Basil" folloeded by the response "Yes Sybille". Brits will get the reference.
