Excellent B&B in convenient location
This was much better than we expected. The location is very convenient to walk from train station and even more convenient from airport water bus stop. Everything was clean and well take care of. The ladies making fresh breakfast every morning were super nice and accommodating and breakfast was better than a continental buffet most places offer. Check in was a little confusing, but that is my fault for not following the lock box instructions I was emailed in advance, it is actually a really nice system they have setup. I would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect getaway place
Very pleasant. Owner was very responsive in all my inquiries. I was surprised on how well they kept the place. Modern indoor facilities tucked inside the old Venice building. Stella, one of the attendants, was very helpful. Breakfast was great!

Lovely hotel and staff. Location was perfect and quiet by a little canal but within walking distance to anything you would possibly want to see. Room was a nice size and the garden was a nice touch as well. Would definitely recommend.

Casa Melograno was great value. Simple but spacious room & bathroom. Great location. I preferred walking but was able to see all quarters (sestiere) of Venice on foot: 10K to 20K steps daily. Breakfast was different each morning but great start to the day. I would stay there again

Great location, very walkable from train station and into the sights. Friendly and helpful staff. Good room with air conditioning. Great breakfast.

Excellent hotel, service goes above and beyond! Simone is a fabulous host and the property is fantastic, character and very well kept. Breakfast was great, plenty to stay the day and excellent service. Would definitely return!

Great location. Very easy to get there. First or second stop from the train station in the vaporeto. Simone was very helpful in giving us restaurant recomendations, places to visit, The breaksfast in the garden was very good. Certainly a place that I recommend to stay in Venice.

Great base to explore Venice
Easy and straight forward check in/check out, quite modern. Welcoming on arrival and offered coffee in the garden. Garden was a lovely addition as somewhere to relax. Provided local map with recommendations and advice to make the most of our stay. Lovely room on a quiet backstreet but 2 minutes walk to busier street with restaurants/shops. Would happily return

Highly recommended!
From the first moment to the last moment of our stay we were so welcomed. Upon arrival we had a friendly greeting, we were offered coffee and water (it was 32C) and we had just carried all our cases through Venice to get there! The staff took time to show us on a map some of the best places to eat and drink. How best to get to the land marks and you can tell they genuinely care about giving you the best stay. Just the welcome alone was enough to set up the first stay. We arrived early but they were happy to keep our luggage and showed me our apartment and assured us it would be ready by check in time. We booked to stay in the two-bedroom apartment and I can happily say it is amazing value for money. There are two spacious bedrooms, a small kitchen area (with all amenities needed), a dining area and a small balcony. Also a nice touch is both bedrooms had a canal view. It was spotless and the fact it had ice cool air conditioning really helped. We maintained the apartment ourselves but staff were insistent on checking in and giving the apartment a clean which was so nice. In regards to the bed, they are spacious and comfy. There is a wardrobe, chair and tv with plenty of space to get ready and relax. I can honestly say for what we paid we were given value and a lot more. What is clear here is this is not just a business. The staff care and are conscious about you having a good stay. Their hospitality and care is clear to see. Thank you so much.

Great hotel, 100% recommend.
Very reasonably priced and excellent quality. We were apprehensive that the hotel may not be the best given the price, however, it exceeded our expectations. The hotel is tucked away in a quiet area. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the staff were extremely friendly. The hotel had a great outdoor space to relax and the breakfast was good too. Would definitely recommend visiting here.

This hotel was so amazing! All of central Venice is really walking distance, so for my daughter and me it was most important that the hotel was in a quiet neighborhood and it was quite easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. And the staff was absolutely lovely! Simone was so helpful in all and any questions we had, and proactively shared directions and advice on best way to get places. The breakfast was wonderful! Everything was perfect!

Casa del Melograno was a great little stay for my son and I. Simone was very kind and helpful with our questions. The breakfast outside in the courtyard was splendid, we felt ready for our day after all the variety of treats: cappuccino, orange juice, croissant, eggs, and fruit. I will recommend this place to any friends/family visiting Venice.

The management (brothers) were very friendly & accomodating with helpful information. Shower was good better then alot of other higher star properties we’ve stayed at. Nice to have a garden to sit in. Only feedback is first night we arrived very late & was hard to find in the dark, however management did communicate via WhatsApp

Wonderful, quiet, friendly place to stay in Venice. Easy access to transportation and peaceful boutique hotel to stay after a hectic day . Loved the wonderful garden! Such helpful owners always eager to lend a hand and guidance. I will always stay at this safe and sweet place when in Venice.

Small quiet hotel next to Casino
A pleasant small hotel next to the main tourist way from the railway station to Rialto and close to a vaporetto stop. 15-20 minutes walk from piazzale Roma. A small clean quiet room with the view into the courtyard. It was cold to use the inner yard, but it looks pleasant. I really like possibility to check in after the check-in hours. it is a coffee machine and kettle in the small common area on the ground floor. Absence of any wardrobe was a bit inconvenient, but it is ok for short staying

Great little find!
There is not a 24 hr reception desk. But Nicolo had messaged me earlier that he would be there when we arrived after hours. He gave us a number of dinner suggestions. He and his brother, Simon serve a fabulous breakfast each morning for 10 E each. The room was very large compared to European standards. Bed was very comfortable and the location is away from the crowds which was nice. We’d highly recommend!

The staff at Casa Del Melograno were so helpful and friendly. Truly it felt more like staying at a friend’s house than a hotel because they were so welcoming. It’s a very clean hotel and the courtyard in the back is wonderful! It is about a two minute walk to the San Marcuola vaporetto stop. There are automatic ticket machines so you can purchase your fare - it’s about $9.50 USD per person one way. We traveled to San Marco via the vaporetto. I highly recommend doing a walking tour. We went through Alilaguna ticket office at the Royal Gardens gate, San Marco stop. Our tour also included a gondola ride.

Piccola struttura ben tenuta vicino alla fermata del vaporetto facilissima da raggiungere. Punti di forza il giardino interno ben curato, la pulizia,la colazione abbondante e la gentilezza e la disponibilità di Simone... sicuramente ci tornerò.

A nice small hotel with very friendly staff close from railway station and a walking distance from the center of Venice. The room was clean and quiet with a window opening to the yard. Church bells were heard in the evening adding special Italian atmosphere to the stay.

Best place to Stay in Venice
I have no words to express how happy we were to stay in Casa del Melograno. Excellent people excellent host fantastic garden to sit and enjoy drinks or tea. I would surely come back and stay. We got there room overlooking the canal it was just wow. The place is close to the station and also close to best restaurants.

Great hotel but front desk challenging.
Impossible to get a hold before arriving. There is no phone number at VRBO website. When emailed hotel, they were not helpful. Front desk didn’t set a first good impression at our arrival. Although it improved during the second day. Free breakfast consisting on bread, yogurt and fruit. Great size room and awesome location. Hotel it’s self was worth it but it was a bit stressful dealing with the reservation.
