Ok für eine Durchgangsübernachtung
For one night in transit at this price absolutely ok. Many small details show that the interior should be refurbished soon.The height of the office chair at the table can no longer be adjusted. I took a cushion to sit reasonably comfortably to be able to work my computer. The tap in the bathroom is so calcified (due to age) that nothing can be adjusted. Water simply comes out of the ceiling shower. Insgesamt sauber. Ein Kissenbezug und der Teppich hatte Flecken, welche durch bessere Reinigung entfernt werden könnten. Ich habe gut geschlafen.

The room has an odor smell and the window cannot be opened. The air conditioner has a sour smell also. I woke up many times during the night due to the heat, smell, and noise from upstairs. Barstow city has been gone down so fast in the past two years, the area is not safe to live overnight.

It was a really nice inn however it is near gambling and it's right next to the freeway. It is a pet friendly hotel unfortunately for us the person staying next to us had a dog that kept barking until their return which was 11:30 so keep that in mind if your just passing through.

Cleanliness was an issue
I can’t say that the room was filthy but it was certainly not clean. I’m not sure if the bed sheets were washed as there were stray hairs on them and holes in them. The pillows and mattress are probably decades old. The bathroom tub had a lot of stains and dark spots so I didn’t shower. I found and killed a silverfish on the wall. The front desk people were nice. Overall, this is a cheap place to stay so you get what you pay for.

Terrible ! Décevant !
Quelle déception. Il a du y avoir un changement de propriétaire car j’avais deja logé dans cet hotel il y a 4 ans et il n’avait rien a voir avec celui qu’il est devenu ! Il y a une odeur terrible dans les chambres, la moquette est clairement pas de toute jeunesse et clairement je ne voulais pas marcher pieds nus dessus. Les salles de bain sont d’une autre époque, les rideaux devraient etre changés. Il manquait des serviettes dans la chambre. L’hotel ne fait aucun effort pour ameliorer le confort ou les conditions meme a moindre cout, c’est tellement dommage car j’avais le souvenir d’un petit hotel familial pas cher, dans son jus certes mais parfait pour une nuit, j’ai aujourd’hui le sentiment qu’il est encore dans son jus mais que personne ne fait rien pour l’entretenir c’est terrible.

Although this was a cheap place to stay, it was very unkept. It could def use a remodel and someone to pickup broken machinery and keep them out of the walkways. We were happy to have found a place to stay within our budget but we were ready to go a first light due to the surroundings and conditions.

Heater didn't work very well but overall it was a nice size room with a full kitchen separated by its own door as well as the bathroom.

Very comfortable
Front desk clerk was very friendly and process was very smooth . Only thing I would say is there needs to be carpet cleaning and TV box needs to be fixed as no channels were coming in.

My husband and I pulled up to the Star Dust which looked like a dump from the outside and there were sketchy people outside smoking, so we ended up staying somewhere else. I called for a refund but the front office person barely spoke English, so Expedia helped me in contacting the hotel for a refund. Don’t waste your money. They’re plenty of other local hotels to stay at in much better condition for almost the same price.

low budget, clean and all the basics
low budget and really clean really good for the price no bed bugs or any bad experience. the only suggestion I would have is try to ask a room far from street. (due noisy cars)

The room served us well for an overnighter
We stayed overnight on our trip to LA. The check-in and service was fine. The room was clean, no frills, and comfortable. The area around the hotel is run down, but so is much of Barstow unfortunately. The parking lot was clean and well lighted at nigh. The hotel area was quiet at night. The room had a coffeemaker, a fridge, and a microwave.

I know it is a budget hotel but it needs a lot of fixing and cleaning up. It is out of the way and some shading looking people hanging around. The front hotel sign is broke and not lit up.
