The worst hotel/hostel experience ever. Staff did not bother to help or have manners in any way, had to wait a long time for them to come to the gate to receive us, there was no parking as advertised, you had to make your own bed, locks on doors did not work, staff insulted the guests that were only asking polite questions, you could not use shoes inside, no covid protocol at all, no toilet paper, you could not pay with credit/debit card, there was an issue with payment theough hotels.com and I still don’t know if I paid twice

Bonita infraestructura pésimo servicio
Lamentablemente tuvimos una mala experiencia en el hostel Okori. Fui con mi polola a ver la carrera Ironman y tuvimos temas desde la recepción en adelante. Varios temas que se pueden mejorar. 1. Aclarar que no hay estacionamientos dentro del hostel, estos estan al lado afuera, en espacio reducido para no mas de 5-6 vehiculos. 2. Tienes que sacar los zapatos para entrar al hostel y el motivo es por el covid, pero lo curioso es que la persona que te recibe no usa mascarilla, por tanto se ve una incongruencia. Me da la idea que el motivo real es por aseo. 3. Hay baños de hombres y mujeres, pero el hostel tiene una extraña norma de uso de baños. Cada habitación tiene asignada una sola ducha, un solo w.c. y un solo lavamanos, de alguno de los dos baños sin importar si es el de hombres o mujeres. Por tanto, en nuestro caso, nos tocó usar el baño de damas. Muy incomodo. Primera vez en mi vida que veo algo asi. 4. Cuando llegamos a la habitación la cama no estaba hecha, tuvimos que hacer la cama y mas encima las sabanas, estaban limpias pero manchadas, asi que tuve que pedir cambio de sabanas. Aludiendo a medida anti covid. Inedito. Poca disposición a ayudar de parte de Karina la voluntaria que estaba en recepción. Desde uso de palabras, disposición, interés, etc. Me llamó la atención en el minuto que llegué, porque deje el portón de entrada entreabierto y el perro podía escaparse y era un perro muy especial y bla bla. Luego el valor de la estadía hay que agregar el 19% de iva.

I don’t recommend you here
The owner charged me credit card before I arrive. And charged me the tax, but foreigner people don’t need pay the tax. They didn’t agree to redound me. It’s bad experience!

Dear Carlos, the cancellation policies are clearly established. With respect to the tariff benefit, the law clearly states that the guest must present all their documentation upon entering the hostel, they are: passport, immigration card and must be paid in dollars and in perfect condition, without scratches or stains. If these requirements are not met, the hostel can not prove the income of the dollars and commit an infringement or money laundering with their respective sanctions. that is why the transaction in your case was made affects VAT.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Okori Hostel. There weren't many people staying there during our stay, which made it easy to cook in the common kitchen. We enjoyed talking with the other guests. Our room was very nice and clean. It was pretty quiet. I did hear dogs barking in the middle of the night on at least one of the nights. One concern upon arriving were the large puddles of water on the long unpaved driveway. Some of the puddles were deep. Fortunately, we never got stuck in any of the puddles. Okori Hostel is the best hostel we stayed at in Chile. We loved the two dogs that greeted us when we came and went, and the chickens that are by the parking area.

Sehr abgelegenes Hostel
Leider mussten wir dieses Hostel frühzeitig verlassen, da wir Probleme mit aufgebrachten, reisserischen, menschengroßen Hunden haben, die in dieser Gegend jeder Hausbesutzer zu haben oder brauchen scheint. Und da reicht jeweils nicht einer aus. Da das Hostel am Ende einer abgelegenen Seitengasse liegt, musste man immer an allen Hunden vorbei. Das haben wir nicht ausgehalten. Speziell weil meine Freundin vor solchen Tieren, wenn sie sich in Angriffspose begeben und entsprechend laut bellend gegen die Abzäunung springen, dies bei Ihr panische Zustände auslöst. Leider konnte man mit dem Vermieter über das Problem nicht reden. Er (speziell die Chefin) reagierte sehr aggressiv und unfreundlich, was sehr befremdend war. So blieb uns ein Umzug aus dieser Gegend nach einer Nacht nicht erspart. Da der Vermieter jetzt unrechtmäßig die gesamte Reservierung abgebucht hat, wird es ein Nachspiel geben müssen. Ein Beschwerdebrief an Expedia.at ist in Arbeit.

Serviço e local agradáveis.
O hostel estava muito tranquilo nos dias em que fiquei e quase não haviam pessoas hospedadas. O valor dos 19% de taxa foi cobrado indevidamente em cartão internacional e só me dei conta depois que já havia pago. O hostel fica distante do centro da cidade, sendo necessário se locomover através de taxi, onibus ou caronas que são sempre oferecidas pelos locais. Se procura tranquilidade, esse é o lugar idela. Porém se esperar aproveitar mais a noite de pucon o ideal é se hospedar em algum hostel no centro da cidade. A internet do hostel não funciona muito bem.

Close to pucon.
The hotel was clean very well decorated on the salon. Is a self service place, you have the kitchen at your service but you clean, dry and save. no towels in the room, they have extra cost. You must walk without shoes on the inside. it´s like if you are on your own vacation house. no breakfast included. Room is quite small. I think price is a little bit high for what you get. 7 km away from downtown.

PESIMO, despues de 9 horas de viaje en auto de santiago a Pucon, incluyendo que por GPS no fue facil llegar, a la entrada del Hostal tienen una jaula con gallinas y patos, y en su interior 3 perros grandes que cuidan el establecimiento, yo llegue con una yorkshire minitoys, lo cual me comentaron que no era posible su ingreso , y les hice saber que ellos tenian animales en su recinto, y no me pude hospedar en el recinto , siendo las 8 de la noche tuve que buscar otro lugar , lo mejor de todo que pude encontrar una cabana para los 4 ,mas grande y mas economica, muy mal trato de parte de ellos, y en sus politicas no mencionaba que no podian entrar mascotas, y ellos llenos de animales en su recinto .

Local muito isolado, poucas indicações de placas para chegar. Tem que tirar os sapatos para andar no hostel. Hoteis.com informa que hostel tem café da manhã, mas não tem. Só paga em dinheiro e na moeda local. Wi fi terrível, não funciona! Proprietária informou que não poderia melhorar qualidade do wi fi porque senão teria que cortar árvores na propriedade para o sinal melhorar... basta comprar um roteador decente! Proprietários não deixam trocar senha do cofre eletrônico no quarto... e eles sabem a senha. Só recomendo para quem está de carro. Isolamento acústico péssimo. Escuta as pessoas conversando na sala comum. Barulho do banheiro. Escuta as pessoas andando no andar de cima.

Un merveilleux séjour.
Un hostel exceptionnel au confort, au calme et à l'âme remarquables. Carin et Samuel sont des hôtes d'une générosité et d'un accueil rarissimes. Une vraie tranche de chaleur humaine dans un voyage où l'on côtoie parfois des auberges bruyantes et impersonnelles. L'emplacement, un peu excentré du centre (mais néanmoins fort accessible même si l'on n'est pas véhiculé) confère encore plus de charme à l'établissement. Je souhaite à l'hostel Okori tout le succès qu'il mérite. Bravo!
