Fletcher Wellness - Hotel Leiden
8/10 Good
"Overall a pleasant stay. Best for couples since bathroom is open with a swing door between the toilet and shower so you can close one or the other but not both. Black stone sink has a tilt (not a regular design but with a flat edge at the bottom) so water never drains completely. I booked the hotel for the pool and hot tub, only to find that it is available from 8 - 9:30 am or 1.5 hours in the morning (with kids) without a fee (20 euros per day for the spa that includes the pool and hot tub) and when you are allowed to swim with a bathing suit on. Unfortunately, I am not ready to swim naked at a coed space. I had a massage at the spa and it was wonderful. Tried to book another appointment with my daughter and the front desk made a mistake telling me the time in English but wrote down the time an hour earlier in the system. Very stressful when we found out that we were late. They did NOT apologize and blamed me for not checking the email (which was hard for me to do while going to activities). We had said the time at least twice the night before when we booked in person (repeated twice so I was confident about the scheduled time). They did agree to reschedule- got a card with hand written confirmation this time. The hotel is located in a two tower building with a bridge inside. reception on 12 floor, take the elevator down to 10, walk thru the bridge to the other tower, then elevator to your floor. Tricky. 4 stars because of the value and convenience of the location."

Tulip Inn Leiden Centre
8/10 Good
"Hotel was in excellent location, very close to train station and close to the town centre. Staff very friendly and had very good English. I used the parking for one day(Parking is charged at 25 euro for 24hours)very good parking area. The only down side was the rooms didn't have Air conditioning and while I stayed it was rather warm. The hotel had provided a dyson air fan for the room which was of great and cooling. Would recommend staying here for sure."

ibis Leiden Centre
10/10 Excellent
"Well located next to the station and 2 shops. Comfy beds, great shower, wish there was more surface space but that's my only negative. Would happily stay again"

Hotel VIC

"My absolute favorite hotel in Leiden. I am always so impressed with it that I have returned time and again. Right near the train, so close and walkable to all of the things that Leiden offers. Perfect location and place to stay when in the Netherlands."

Bastion Hotel Leiden Oegstgeest
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed at Bastion, Oegstgeest for 7 nights, spending most of the time with family, living locally. Staff were friendly and cooperative and the facilities adequate. We didn’t need to eat or drink at the hotel but both provisions are available."

NH Noordwijk Conference Centre Leeuwenhorst
10/10 Excellent
"We love staying at the Leeuwenhorst. It has a lot to offer. Free parking, it has beautiful woods behind the hotel for exercise and walks. The breakfast buffet has tons of good breakfast options. The sauna and gym is great to have on-site. It is located close to Noordwijk aan Zee."

Boutique Hotel Steenhof Suites - Adults Only
10/10 Excellent
"The rooms are located right at the walking center of Leiden in a lovely restored building on one of the loveliest canals. The rooms are well appointed with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms. Turn left out the door to the public market and the main shopping streets. Turn right to the lovely Pieterskerk (c 1221), many nice restaurants on the Cloksteg and the old academic buildings of the venerable Leiden University and it’s famous gardens."
