Zeer onvriendelijke eigenaar. Ook het personeel was eonduit ongeschoff. Kamer was zeer gedateerd en stonk. Zeker geen aanrader om hier te overnachten

Het is een gedateerd hotel. Prijs 170 euro voor 1 nacht staat totaal niet in verhouding met wat je er voor terug krijgt. Uitchecken ook bizar vroeg om 10 uur. Wel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Wij hadden de tuinkamer. Hier is het een heerlijk , ruim plekje om te verblijven met de mogelijkheid buiten te zitten. Er zijn koffie en thee fasciliteiten . Naar wens wordt de kamer wel of niet tussendoor schoongemaakt. Een aanrader!

Prima hotel dicht bij het centrum van het dorp.

Prettig verblijf, zeer vriendelijk en gemotiveerd personeel. Rustig, maar toch dicht bij het dorp gelegen. Uitstekend eten in het restaurant.

The excellent thing is that the property lies in between the village of Schiermonnikoog an the beach and dunes. And....it's extremely quiet in the evening and night.

Minder goed aan Expedia is dat ik in de veronderstelling was dat ik al had betaald, door m'n credit card gegevens in te voeren bij Expedia. Dat blijkt bij het hotel niet het geval te zijn. Ik moet daar betalen. Deze onduidelijkheid geeft wat onrust.

Lekke dicht bij het dorp en niet te ver van het strand. Met gehuurde E-bikes het eiland rond geweest. Ook het weer kon niet beter. Enorm genoten. Personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulp saam.

Lekker even uitwaaien, prima hotel, fijn eiland...

Prima hotel, mooie en schone kamer met douche aan de voorkant van het hotel. Een uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet met volop keuze. Vriendelijke bediening. Hotel bevindt zich op de weg van het dorp naar het strand. Er is nagenoeg geen autoverkeer op het eiland (alleen bussen, taxi's en auto's van bewoners van het eiland.) Wij zijn met de auto naar Lauwersoog gereden en hebben de auto geparkeerd in de parkeergarage van Wagenborg, direct naast de boot. Tickets geboekt op het internet, dus gelijk de boot op (je hoeft dan niet in de rij voor de kassa). Om te parkeren hoef je niet eerst een kaartje te kopen, je kunt meteen de parkeergarage in rijden. Kaartje aan de ingang uit de slagboom of, zoals wij het deden, met de credit kaart. Overtocht duurt ongeveer 45 minuten. Aan de overkant staan bussen te wachten die je bij het hotel voor de deur afzetten (er is een bushalte direkt voor dit hotel), of je kunt meteen aan de boot een fiets huren. Het is misschien wel handig om deze van te voren te boeken, omdat er soms een enorme wachtrij kan staan bij de ongeboekte fietshuurders. Voor de bus betaal je € 3,50 voor een retour. Je kunt ook in het dorp een fiets huren. Wij waren er op zondag en maandag. Zondags stralend weer en veel dagjesmensen die 's avonds met de boot weer terugvaren. Maandag was het lekker rustig. Zo vanaf het hotel naar het strand fietsen (of lopen). Zeer breed strand, ruimte genoeg. Hotel heeft ook tuinkamers, rustiger schrijft het hotel, maar straatkant was ook zeer rustig.
