We stayed here for a football tournament at Young’s Sportsplex. Upon arrival, Travelodge seemed well kept and clean. Checked in with a lady (not sure of her name) but she seemed a little snippy through the process. Went to park, and noticed multiple people outside. One of which was obviously high on heroine, and passed out in a patio chair. Not to mention his neighbor who was smoking from a crack pipe. So at this point, I’m not feeling comfortable leaving my car outside, or having my kid staying with us. Got to our room, which smelled clean, looked clean, but was completely outdated. Walls in the bathroom were cracked and gapping. Toilet paper holder was missing. Our comforter had a crusty stain on it (we ended up using our own blanket) On to today (check out day) I have big bites all over me. Clearly they have bed bugs. I’m not impressed, as now I have to deal with the sanitation process to not transfer the bugs to my own home. The only great thing about this place is the convenience of being central to everything. Next time, I would gladly pay double to not have to deal with the BS that is to begin at home! Do better Travelodge!

The whole place stunk like old cigarette smoke. The units were falling apart. I had to switch rooms because of how bad the smell was. There was carpet in the first room, brown substance dripping down the walls, I booked for 4 people and there was only 2 towels and everything was unplugged. The common areas did not look like it was ever cleaned. They bedding didn’t smell fresh. There were only 3 pillows per bed. I felt itchy here and would never stay there again or any other Travelodge. And it seemed like people live there and were right outside my room smoking weed and chatting outside. My 2 kids were not happy with this rundown place either.

The pictures of this hotel are very deceptive. The hotel is not in good condition at all. The furniture in the room was broken, scratched, not something you walk into and want to sleep in. Very disappointed.

The ceiling was spliting apart and moldy around the exahust fan in the bathroom the floor had stains the molding was coming off at the baseboards there was a slight smell i could not place

So my boyfriend and I stayed here for one night, even though the staff was extremely friendly the room we stayed in was not satisfactory. When i checked in i was planning to have a shower and get ready as i had an event. Unfortunately my shower was broken and sprayed water everywhere. Then there was a crack in the ceiling and whenever someone flushed the ceiling would leak. As for the room only issue was that the AC unit only gave out cold air so we were cold all night and the lamps didn’t work but bed wasn’t bad (king bed).

There were several black stains on the ceiling in the washroom. I understand this is a high humidity area, however more attention should be given to this area.

Easy to get to off HWY 406. Easy checkin. Room is clean but a little dated. Good room for the price and in a great location as to ding and shopping.

Ended up having to book another hotel, this one was terrible. Dirty. Windows boarded up. When checking out the desk staff laughed and said this happens all the time.

the room was clean, bed was comfortable. staff was very nice.but this hotel needs some upgrades. the bathroom door was cracked. stains on the ceiling and walls. also it looked like the smoke detector had plastic covering on it, which concerned me if it was actually in working order. consider adding a hair dryer to the bathroom.

The air conditioner and heating unit in this room was old. It would. heat room up to the temp and then blast cold air to cool the room down to the point where we felt like we were sleeping outside. This happened all nite .

The front desk service was really good. Very nice lady working. When i got into the room the chair in the room was covered in stains. Paint peeling off the walls. Ac unit looked like it was falling apart. The worst part was the guest at the end of the parking lot shooting up. Did not feel safe staying so cancelled reservation and had to lose tje money since the hotel has a strict cancellation policy

Picture on line not like the actual room. Chair was ripped. Fridge was making a noice. Practice kept me up all night. Hallway had an unpleasant smell. Breakfast. Stale bagels still in a bag thrown on a counter. Tables in the lunch area all scratch up and dirty. For $140 on Welland I was expecting a bit better. To be honest if I did not had prepaid I was ready to leave. Only good thing bed was comfortable but the pillow cases where all wrinkle up. Oh the only give you two towels.

Staff had no clue about how to fix the tv in our room and seemed like my wife and i were a inconvenience. The answer was to move us to another room after we had unpacked. Won't stay there again, or recommend.
