Detta är inte en stuga utan ett pyttelitet utrymme i nedre delen av en båt. Jättevarmt och fönsterna gick inte att öppna. Ingen ac.

very weird... anonymous... all rooms are on the lower level... with all rooms with direct view over the river, the rooms are half in half above the water... in all descriptions is mentioned that the windows cannot open... if this would be the case water from passing boats would enter the room... everywhere we describe the size of the rooms (which are ca. 9 m²)... all guests are personally guided to the room and are explained how the AC works... every room has its own AC unit... (exeption weekendcheck-ins... therefore we have in-room explanation of how to operate the AC)... it is very sad to review anonymously... complain when you are on the spot and not afterwards where we vcannot help anymore...

Brasserie wasn’t open and no on site facilities to make tea coffee water or breakfast. Room was hot and stuffy unable to open the windows. Also be warned the bathroom has no door and has a glass window so very little privacy!

ahoi Bradley, all the remarks you write are correct. However, all this is clearly mentioned before you book, and are repeated upon reconfirmation of your reservation... that is, if you read it! Every room has an aircondiotioner, and even though check-in on weekends are done "from a distance" I was there to meet and greet you, and explain amongst them others, about the airco... I went to the parkingmeter to help you with the instructions in Dutch (even though instructions in English are available), gave you tips on what to do in town... and where to eat...

sehr herzlicher Empfang durch den "Kapitän" und Einweisung in die Besonderheiten an Bord, kleines Zimmer, zweckmäßig, leider kein Fenster zum Öffnen da direkt über der Wasserlinie, im Sommer oder nach dem Duschen wird es sehr warm bzw. feucht, dafür gibt es dann ein Klimagerät, wobei der Abluftschlauch aber durch die offene Türe geführt werden muss. Frühstück entweder klein (Baguette, Croissant, Butter, Marmelade, Kaffee/Tee) oder groß (nicht ausprobiert). Lage direkt an der Altstadt, herrlich zum Bummeln und Essen gehen (oder an Bord essen)

Fun mais propreté du lit à revoir
Un propritétaire vraiment sympathique, un bon restaurant pour le soir et un petit déjeuner avec du choix et pas si cher que ça (plusieurs formules disponibles). Par contre, le drap du dessous dans le lit etait taché de façon suspecte à plusieurs endroits donc j'ai du dormir recroquevillé dans un coin du lit. C'est plutot fun de dormir dans un bateau et ça ne bouge pas trop sauf quand des bateaux passent aux alentours.

Séjour au top.
Ravis de notre séjour ! Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par le gérant, et nous avons beaucoup aimé séjourner dans cet hôtel atypique. La péniche est parfois légèrement secouée par le passage des bateaux, mais cela ne nous a pas gêné outre mesure. On a pas testé le petit-déjeuner... l’hotel est proche du centre, il y a pas mal de restaurants et de bars sympas à proximité... bon plan pour un week-end à deux.

Nous avons moins apprécié le manque de climatisation dans les chambres, les lampes de chevet qui ne fonctionnaient pas, l’absence de TV et le prix du petit déjeuner, tout à fait déraisonnable eu égard à la prestation

Het personeel was vriendelijk en het hotel was schoon. De bedden sliepen prima en de douche was goed. De kamers waren alleen erg klein, er was geen tv en het was er erg warm. Er was geen afzuiger of luchtrooster.Na het douchen was het helemaal warm. In de ochtend was het raam beslagen en lag er een plss water op de vensterbank.

Great and different place to stay
I really like to stay at this boat hotel. It's been my second time.The atmosphere is great and unique. It rocks a little bit when other boats pass by but, hey, life is not perfect and after a while I got used to it. The bar and restaurant upstairs are welcoming and the food is good. Every time I go I meet nice interesting people!

Stay at a quiet boat in centre of town
I prefer to sleep on boats, if possible. BOOTEL is in the river Leie in the middle of the city along a quiet quay/road. You enter through restaurant/bar with all-glass walls. 10 spacy rooms below that, with a window just above water level. Surprisingly large and cosy. You pay separately for a breakfast that you choose from a breakfast menu, often served by the engaged owner. Recommended!

Séjour original, chambre dans une péniche accostée à proximité du centre-ville. Chambre fonctionnelle mais un peu petite avec une fenêtre au ras de l'eau, belle vue sur le fleuve. Accueil sympathique par le propriétaire dans le bar / restaurant sur le pont de la péniche.

Weinig ruimte, wat niet echt nadelig is als je enkel wilt overnachten. Kamer was zeer proper, en de boot wiebelde gezellig door passerende boten.
