Hotel 1914 - Historic Alamo Riverwalk, an Ascend Collection Hotel

"Check in was smooth, every staff member we interacted with was very kind and helpful (and even took our totalled luggage for disposal - thank you very much). The elevators are small but do what they need to do. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, all the usual continental breakfast fare. The hotel is close to transit/attractions. Overall very satisfied and would stay here again."

"Could not believe Ambler did not offer rooftop service on Labor Day weekend!! And they did not inform the front desk, they were clueless. Guests had to go all the way down to the bar in their dripping wet bathing suits just to get a cold drink. Such a shame since we picked this hotel specifically so we could order drinks at the pool. What a disappointment for my daughter's birthday!"
