"This hotel is full of contradictions. It is an older building that has been remodeled in the last several years. The good: plenty of hot water in the shower, good quality television, and a comfortable bed. I did not use the swimming pool but it was open and looked nice. Air conditioning was efficient and quiet. However, the breakfast is overpriced and under delivers. Additionally the appearance, even though it's been renovated is a story of contrasts. Most of the renovated areas are monochrome gray in color. Not particularly warm and comforting. The carpeting appears to have been laid without any backing over the concrete superstructure. Also signs of wear and tear around elevator shafts. But all in all if you can get a decent rate it's a reliable place to stay."

"After a terrible experience at another hotel, Sparks Hotel completely turned our trip around. This hotel truly saved us from what had been a very frustrating and disappointing stay elsewhere. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. The facilities were clean, well-maintained, and a huge contrast to our previous accommodations. The room was comfortable, fresh, and exactly what we needed after a stressful night. It’s clear that the team takes pride in providing a great experience for their guests. We are extremely grateful to have found Sparks Hotel and would happily stay here again. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable hotel with outstanding customer service."

"This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The room was dirty, there was hair in the shower, and the entire room smelled like a gym locker room. We arrived very late due to a flight delay and called ahead to let the hotel know we would be checking in late, but they still had issues with our reservation when we arrived. We got to the hotel around 3:30 AM, but because of the reservation problems, we didn’t receive our room until 4:00 AM. After finally getting into the room, we only stayed a few hours to get some sleep before checking out and moving to another hotel as soon as possible. The condition of the room and the overall experience were completely unacceptable. I would never stay here again and cannot recommend it to anyone!!!"
