Whistler, British Columbia hotel rooms at the Independent

"I enjoyed my stay at The Summit Lodge. The location was excellent and very quiet at night. There are great shops near the hotel. A supermarket across the street, restaurants and an excellent vitamin shop called Quantum Health. They were helpful and had a great selection of vitamins and sports supplements. We also enjoyed the swimming pool and hot tub. We will definitely be back again. "

"Really nice option as a good place to stay. I mean, it wasn’t the four seasons….but that wasn’t what we wanted. Was more than open to us who were there to mountain bike. Took care of my family and my bike. Places to park my truck without worry. Good amenities in the room (though I’d probably like a microwave added). Everything is walking distance away. Was a place that I have decided we will stay at next time we go to whistler. "

"the staff was very friendly and always helpful, the hotel is at the village, it is walkable everywhere. there is a park right next to it that you can also use to walk in to the village.our view from our window was to the mountain. would stay in again "

"Good service at checkin.We were a family of five and the two bedroom suite was perfect. We enjoyed the balcony. We spent most of our time in the village and at Lost Lake so unfortunately didn’t have enough time to use the pool but it looked nice Would stay there again.. "
