โAs you enter the hallway it smells like mildew. The room also smell I can't describe the smell. The room was so hot and when we started the AC it took so long to cool down. There was a death roach so I don't think they vacuum very ofter. The shower courtain had a blood stain and also one of the towels. The bed was super unconfortable my back and shoulders were in pain every morning.โ
โProperty smelled so much of air freshener in lobby it was overwhelming. What was it covering?
The beds were so high I couldnโt touch the ground and I am 6โ. โ
โLocal couple we needed a place to stay the night due to our AC being out and its over 100 degrees. Was able to get in quick and they allowed our dog! Room was much nicer than expected and proud to say our hometown has places like this. โ
โComfortable Stay with Excellent Amenities
Stayed at Country Garden and Suite in Benton, IL and was very impressed. The room was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and everything looked recently updated.The hot breakfast in the morning was a great touch โ fresh and filling. The staff was friendly and check-in was fast and easy. I also liked that the hotel is right off the highway, which made it convenient for my road trip.โ
โMaking a reservation through Hilton was terrible. I was unable to complete the online reservation. Selected the date and room but the payment info page was locked. When I called Hilton reservations, i was quoted a price More than $60 than listed on Hilton website. Bathroom faucet so loose it almost fell off the countertop. very low water pressure in the shower, a trickle. I was told that was due to village water use restrictions in place.โ
