"So I am riding my bike across America and this red roof inn was right where I needed it to be. The staff gal was kind but her machines weren't working so she had to enter manually... there were folding chairs in front of rooms indicating long term stays... lots of signs saying don't smoke, the room ..."

All the basics done well
"Nice, comfortable stay in Harpers Ferry. They did the essentials well, like cleanliness, comfortable bed, and water pressure. A pretty good breakfast too! A little surprised at the price (a tad higher than most QIs) but not a lot of hotel options in Harpers Ferry, and still less than a BnB"

We were just there for grandsons graduation, so didnt do any site seeing other than from driving. Beautiful scenery. Would have loved too have done some site seeing but husband and i couldn't do the walking.
