"The beds were comfortable. The room was enormous and the location was excellent although very noisy at night because of traffic. Several things about the hotel are quite rundown. The curtains didn’t open or close properly because they caught on the tracks so my husband had to climb up and sort them night and morning for four days. The bath had considerable limescale staining and the shower temperature couldn’t be adjusted. The worst thing was how cold the room was. Apparently this was because the hotel heating was in summer mode so the room could only be cool and not heated. We were freezing in there most of the time and it took till our final (4th) night for the hotel staff to bring a heater to us. Coffee and tea facilities in the room were not replenished and when we asked they didn’t arrive or we had to wait a very long time. By the final night we were quite miserable so the hotel did say they would refund us for our final night. So far we haven’t received any of this money despite departing a week ago."

"Centrally located, easy to get most places in the city by walking or a short ride"

"We stayed for one night we came to Philadelphia to a concert. It was a mother-daughter trip. It was four of us two adults two teens. We did the two queen bedroom city view. The bed was super comfortable. The room was clean no issues and the room came with one robe already in it we asked for three additional robes. They brought them up with no issue. Also, we arrived a little early on check-in and they held out bags downstairs for us while we went and did other thingsand our train was later checking out on checkout day, and they also held our bags until we were ready to pick them up. If I come back to Philly, and I want to stay in that area. I will definitely come back to the W."
