“Good value stay. Room was clean, tidy and had everything needed. Parking was also very easy on the street outside.”

“Staff were amazing on reception and a shout out to the male manager(?) next door at Beefeater! Excellent service! Room was sufficient for our needs the only thing that would be great would be a smart tv in the room!”

“I didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment, but it looked fresh. Had a coffee but was luke warm, could not be warmed up as it was from a machine. Staff super helpful when I requested to move to a bigger room. Manager was very helpful too. The only thing that let the hotel down is that the walls and floors could be thicker, a family that were staying seemed to let their children run free, up and down the corridors! Was annoying. Could not hear the traffic noise at all. Aircon was nice....

“The room was absolutely filthy - even the kettle was dirty. The bathroom had black mould in it and there was mould / damp above the bed. The window didn't open so we couldn't even air the room. I dropped some clothing on the floor and when I picked it up it was covered in dust / dirt and small curly hairs... I know the room was cheap - the furniture was all very old and dated which is fine but the very least I expect from a hotel room is for it to be clean. The breakfast was the only redeeming...

“Comfy room, generous towels. Arrived late Friday evening, no bother getting a table in the pub downstairs for food- they don't take table reservations, so I wasn't at a disadvantage. Good wide choice on the menu and attentive service. There was a nightwatchman for after hours- what a treasure! He showed me how to access once the pub was closed, helped me empty the bags from the car and carried them to our room all with a friendly, nothing was too much trouble approach. A real asset to the Old...

“I felt comfortable soon has i walked in staff where lovely, the only thing was they had a power cut for 12 hours and it was pitch black in the bedroom i know its not there fault but i have a walking disability which i try to keep to my self. But other than that i have had a fantastic stay.”
