“Nice and clean, small but comfortable for visitors, but a little bit hard to carry your baggage to room due to steep and narrow stairway”

“What a kind manager! I am so satisfied with his service. But this hotel is slightly old. I felt itchy because of bedclothes. I don’t know specifically why. I felt it only when I lay on the bed, so I spreaded a towel on the bed. It worked a little. ”

“I stayed in separate building down the street. Small rooms with shared toilet and shower. It was nice enough. The staff were excellent. The area is under heavy construction so alternative parking was needed. But this was arranged. Breakfast was very nice, a free option with ability to buy more. Road closures made getting to hotel difficult but detailed instructions were provided and they worked well. This is a modest but affordable place within easy walking distance of the University. ”

“As advertised, inexpensive and functional. The host was accommodating and the location is good, on Cowley Road, with a bus stop right across the street. The house is not new or recently refurbished and the furnishings are haphasard, but wvebrything was clean and functional. A good place to stay on a budget.”

“Comfortable stay. Property little dated and could do with a fresh coat of paint. Could do with a bit more attention on cleaning cobwebs on windows and dust on skirting boards. But clean bedding and towels. Owners pleasent and helpful. Only 2 parking spaces outside property but more parking on side street with a permit ( can get one from property). Lovely breakfast choice of cereals toast yogurts and fruit also offered bean and egg. Shops and restaurants a couple of minutes walk away. ”

“Very accommodating. Able to leave bags. Supplied gluten free snacks and breakfast options. Clean and quiet. ”
