Sarkies Bar in Yangon at the Strand Hotel. This hotel has been open since 1901. We went there and Had a delicious high tea with champagne followed by a cheese and bread platter. We enjoyed it so much we finished off with a couple of $7 cocktails.

Sunset in Maha Bandula Park is pretty nice. So many locals come to hang out, meet friends, read, listen to music and play. A beautiful spot.

The hotel is super nice with great new staff, limited food in the hotel and activities, should consider another social bar or club area as the hotel is very big, maybe even a night club. No hot tub, no 24 hour activity kinda makes no sense as staff stay overnight anyway.
