Lovely accomodation. Stayed here as it was close to a wedding venue - so pleased we did. Comfortable, very clean and good location. Ticks every box for me
This is a very special place. Lovely accommodation & very spacious - it was the little extra touches that I liked; blankets in the lounge so we cold snuggle up, cafetiere coffee, little bottle of milk in the fridge. The beds were really comfy.
Comfy bed and cosy interior. Sweet thoughtful touches to make it an easy stay. Well equipped kitchenette. Great for a few nights - we went to a wedding at Burtonfieldshall. We brought lots of food with us for our cooked brekkie , but maybe some bread and butter would have also been a nice touch? But really, it was perfect for what we needed it for. Wifi was probably the only thing that struggled a bit, but quite frankly didnt need it.
An Ideal Alternative to a Hotel or Holiday Cottage
We booked an overnight stay because it was close to our planed destination. Melbourne Raceway, a local straight line race track where we ran our 1972 classic car.
Robeanne's location is ideal with ample secure parking out of sight of the road. The self catering side is ideal as it provides flexibility to our weather dependant sport.
The owners are welcoming, friendly and helpful.
The room is well laid out with more than the usual facilities. The breakfast cereal and fresh milk was a welcome surprise.
Lovely place! Nice big room, perfectly clean, friendly hosts. While the dog park is not fully secure (and full of rabbits :) ) it's a nice wee area for the dogs to do their business without having to find somewhere to take them out. Some basic breakfast items to get the day started.
A very warm welcome, cosy, comfortable, clean and well equipped apartment. As walkers, we were very grateful for the supply of provisions for breakfast. Thank you.

Liked: Cleanliness
The one thing that is starting to reduce the experience at this venue is the water pressure in the cabins. Showering is more tricky than I would expect

It’s peaceful, unique and a lovely host. We will definitely be back!
We arrived at midnight in the snow and storm of storm Arwen and were greeted by a cosy comfortable cabin. I especially like the chalk board outside so you are 100%sure you are in the right place!
Lovely clean cabin with all the facilities needed for a great weekend.
We especially loved the breakfast items and muffins left in the fridge for us.
Great accommodation. Will definitely book again. Thank you.
The owners provided milk, orange juice, tea, coffee, sugar, hot chocolate, cereals, bread, butter, toast and marmalade which was a lovely touch.
Free parking right outside the room.
Great location to explore the local area and York, Scarborough etc.
Loved the dog exercise area.
The only slight recommendations i would have to improve would be that the hotels.com page needs updating as it said £5 per dog when it is £10 per dog. It should also state that dogs can not be left unattended in the room as some people may be planning on leaving them in there for an hour whilst they went out to eat for example. It didn't affect us as we ordered a takeaway on this occasion. A DVD player in the room would be another added bonus as the tv channel selection for the evening wasn't great. Could also consider adding takeaway menus in the drawer and maybe linking up with some of these local businesses to offer their customers a discount :-)
We were visiting family in the area so only really needed a bed for the night and breakfast in the morning. The room was great, sizeable and comfortable. The bathroom had everything you need toiletries wise and was very clean. The breakfast is served in a conservatory overlooking fields which was pleasant and the breakfast itself was nice. The only minor criticism is the host wasn't the warmest, but everything else made up for that and we would stay again.
We had a lovely stay at Robeanne House, we have stayed before and it never fails to please. You are always made to feel welcome, the rooms are lovely, clean, spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is first class.
What a find! Wasn't really sure what to expect but it was lovely! My son and I slept so well: the beds were really comfy, the room was clean and had everything we needed for an excellent stay.
