"Excellent location. Warm, friendly atmosphere. Large hotel but felt comfortable and welcoming. Staff were lovely, especially breakfast and evening bar/restaurant staff. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Evening meal also good, though had same dessert two evenings, once excellent, once dire! Room was lovely, beds very comfortable. Bathroom could have done with a more thorough clean ( dust in places and obvious washable marks on floor) Struggled to work TV, an idiots guide would have been useful. Didn’t use gym so can’t comment. Overall a very comfortable stay, perfect for our requirements and would return."

"We cannot rate the Novotel highly enough, the staff are super friendly and efficient. Excellent breakfast, we also ate at the restaurant one evening, again a very enjoyable experience. One of the few places we have stayed that has a bar lounge you actually want to use. Very convenient location just a 10 minute stroll from town."
