"Absolutely worst hotel experience I have ever had. I was put in room #1 which is right next to the door to the reception as well as the stairwell. The room has _zero_ sound insulation so every time someone exited or entered the reception area, the door would slam shut. The room vibrated with every slam. Additionally, you heard every stomp of feet on the staircase. I checked out at 3:15am because it was a waste of time to stay any longer."

"A very nice hotel with a beautiful historic setting. The building itself is full of character, making it a lovely place for a short getaway. The food was good, the service was friendly and efficient, and the room was comfortable and well presented. I slept very well and had an enjoyable stay overall. The pool is a nice feature, although when it gets busy 3 plus people - it can be difficult to swim properly due to its shape and size. That said, it was still a pleasant facility to have available. Overall, it's an ideal choice for a one-night break and a great option if you're looking to stay somewhere with charm and history."
