"The Avis rental was just fine but what I’m very unhappy about is Expedia’s sale of collision damage insurance. Turns out it is NOT part of the rental from Avis so if anything goes wrong you still have to pay Avis and then presumably try to get your money or part of it back from Expedia’s insurer. And buried deep in the terms is the exclusion of people over 70. So I paid as much as a day of rental to Expedia for nothing. They know my birthday, I’m pretty annoyed. "

"La Bocca Resid is a good place to stay close to Cannes. Train station was nearby, bus stop outside, cheap dining options, local market, pastry shop. I felt safe in the area. It was a small bus ride from Midi beach."

"Was a nice clean room, not much else but a couple of comfy beds. Some other guests came in late and we're quite noisy but it's not something the hotel could control. "

"This was a great find for overnight stay before flight the next day. Basic room, very clean comfortable bed. Easy 10 minutes walk into town, lovely river walk to cafe. Would definitely use again "
