“This is not for traveling with big luggage, you have to walk up a hill and upstairs. i always do a clean sweep. wipe down bathroom, the shower head was black when i started wiping.so imagine if i had just jumped in the shower. "can you say rash". i sprayed the bed but slept on top the comforter. No real parking spaces. no safety lack or extra security so be creative. over all it was ok for my 2 night stay. PLEASE CLEAN FIRST BEFORE RESTING”

“This is a small, quaint hotel run by locals in the style of a hostel. We arrived way early and were allowed to swim in the pool for a few hours which was great! The common area is a great place to meet others, and the staff was very nice. We were very happy with this authentic stay and would return.”

I had an issue with my room location and they addressed it and changed it immediately. The stake-house was amazing (a bit pricey, but worth it). “Super friendly place in a great location. You can borrow beach chairs, coolers, beach bags, floats..Our rooms had tons of storage. We did not eat breakfast there as it opens at 8:30 and we were on the road by then. Rum punch every night was a nice touch! I will definitely stay there again. ”

“My wife and I had an amazing stay at the Cruz boutique hotel. It’s located in a great spot with many things nearby, the staff were very helpful and generous. They offered beach chairs and towels and ice, they housekeepers went by everyday in the morning. And the staff gave great recommendation for parking, restaurants and beaches. “Amazing, affordable place to stay on St. John. About a 7 min walk from the ferry terminal. They have a lovely creole style restaurant & bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms have AC!!! All the staff was extremely helpful and kind. They also have snorkel & beach gear you can borrow free of charge. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you!”
