The staff were WONDERFUL and did their very best to make our stay comfortable, however the owners are clearly just taking cash from the building with little maintenance or upgrade. The room was very clean, however there were several holes in the walls that were roughly patched, but not sanded or painted. There was rust on the metal heater and doors. “Look no further and stay at this beautiful B&B! I genuinely looked forward to breakfast every single morning because it was that incredible. The host made our stay so pleasant, truly one of the nicest people we’ve ever met. The location is fantastic, just a short drive to several charming towns that are absolutely worth visiting. I even made the drive to Acadia, just note that it’s a little over an hour away, which my husband and I didn’t mind at all. Thank you so much for everything!”

“This home is such a gem! A historic home that is updated with many modern conveniences. We’ve been to MANY AirB&B’s and this home was probably the best equipped we’ve been in! Convenient to Boothbay and lots of downeast inlets and harbors. Very quiet, but close to groceries, food and farm stands. Our only regret was not staying longer- we would have loved to grill and use the fire pit!”
