“We are frequent travellers and quite simply you get what you pay for.The price for this particular stay was very reasonable but a fundamental aspect of staying in an hotel is to hopefully get a good nights sleep which was not possible on this occasion as the rooms in the hotels annexe have ridiculously noisy floorboards coupled with the fact that increasingly the lack of consideration shown by some hotels guests is definitely getting worse which of course the hotel can do very little about.Nice...

“The Chilworth Manor is set in parkland adjacent to the Southampton Science park, so is quiet with plenty of space for car parking (though it can be a bit dark walking from car to hotel). Reception were helpful & friendly; my room was very spacious and everything worked, Breakfast was excellent, with a buffet including three types of mini-pastry, fresh fruit as well as cereals and typically English fried foods. But the best of all was the indoor pool - note it's only open to 8pm at weekends,...

“Location”

“The hotel facilities are too old.”

“Although my stay was lovely, the hotel could do with upgrading their rooms. Everything in the room was basic where expectations were for a 4 star luxurious experience.”

“The parking spots are small, it is better not driving a big car there.”

“Very friendly people”

“Very dirty hotel – nothing like the pictures I have never been so disappointed with a hotel. The pictures on Expedia look nothing like the hotel we arrived at. The whole place was dirty, smelled terrible and looked very run-down. I honestly cannot understand how this is advertised as a three-star hotel. The hotel was previously used to accommodate asylum seekers, but from what I saw, it looked as though it had never been properly renovated after they left. The walls were dirty, scratched and...

“The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was good and filling. With tasty bread sausages and bacon. The staff were very helpful. I had to ask for help to switch the shower off as it seemed to get stuck. Unfortunately I was not able to use the pool and sauna as closed for maintenance. That had been what had attracted me to the property in the first place! Great location and easy walk to Gold Hill.”

“My stay here was an amazing experience. The restaurant offered service on par with what you would expect from a hotel, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and made a lasting impression. While the cleanliness of the room and the lack of transportation options could be considered minor downsides, the room quality was still reasonable given the price. Since I was already aware of the isolated location, it wasn't an issue for me.”
