"The Alverton is a beautiful hotel The building is stunning. The hotel is just on the outskirts of Truro, but a short walk into town. The staff on reception - rhe two Amys - give a very warm welcome. The room was lovely and spacious My only gripe was the wedding party, who kept me awake on the first night. Breakfasts are delightful, cooked to order. Staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Definitely returning to the hotel as soon as possible."

"From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been anymore helpful. We were greeted by two warm, friendly, smiley and wonderful reception staff. Rooms were extremely comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was delicious, from the huge variety on the continental to the super tasty cooked option. "The central hotel is a beautiful victorian mansion house. With palacial foyer and opulent dining area and bar. Views across surrounding countryside and out to sea spectacular. We were staying in one of the chalets which have a high standard of decor and comfort, each chalet is surrounded by a large garden and hence has a great deal of privacy.
