"The hotel has a rustic feel, but my room was modern and super clean on the 4th floor with a small balcony and a beautiful view. There isn't any porter service or bellhop that I saw while there. Hallways are quite long and carpeted, so pulling a full baggage cart could be a challenge for some folks. Maybe help is available upon request? The pool and hot tub looked very nice. I didn't notice any towels available within the pool area. The bar and restaurant were nice, food was good, service a little slow, but that happens, it's a hotel and reservations aren't always made in advance. The hotel is very close to Main Street, but it sits well above it and whether your use the path with steps or the sidewalk and pavers, it's a climb."

"Although the staff fixed everything after being called, it was unusual for a hotel of this caliber to have these problems. First there wasn’t any coffee in the room to brew in the morning. Then the next morning the maid had apparently thrown away the lid of the coffee maker in the trash. They brought me a whole new coffee maker in a box that I had to cut open, unwrap and set up. Also the Netflix went out and it took two guys to fix it while we were gone. What the real problem with the hotel was how mediocre the food was at dinner and the free breakfast was so basic it was embarrassing. So much so when we told them how dried out the eggs were they said it was a different chef who wasn’t very good that day."
