"Location is perfect. Easy to get to and walking distance to amazing beach, cliffs. The facilities are well maintained and clean. Aren’t luxurious though. A bit of a walk to the old town where most of the restaurants are located at. A nice breakfast is included It is within walking distance from Ponta do Piedade, where you can watch an awesome sunset (see photo) I would gladly return"

"It was magnificent. The view majestic and our room was perfect. Clean, great space, nice amenities ( loved the hair dryer!). Breakfast was fantastic and the bar service was always accommodating. Our ports were remembered from night to night.. "

"We rented a poolside view apartment for 5 nights, as did two other groups we were traveling with. Pros: pool areas are good, excellent for toddlers, large resort, covering large area, lots of free parking, access to cliffside trails was nice w/ good views, staff all friendly and competent, resort restaurants served tasty food. Cons: there appeared to be very little investment into the maintenance of the facilities. I mean everything...exteriors and interiors. For example, in our room the cold water valve under the sink was turned off because the faucet leaked badly when it was turned on. The refrigerator and freezer doors didn't shut and seal regularly because the cabinets and cabinet doors were all askew. All the wicker patio furniture was frayed and in rough shape. The one couch in the living room was missing all the backrest cushions. The latch/lock for the property gate to the trails was broken off, looked like it had been that way for a long time. The spa area was underwhelming. I definitely wouldn't call it a luxury resort and wouldn't feel it was worth the money if I'd paid more than a couple hundred dollars a night. "

"Could not ask for a better location in Portimao. Very central and across the road from the beach. Very extensive breakfast buffet. comfortable room. Very helpful staff. Portimao is about 45 min drive from Faro and 25 min from Lagos, so it's a good central location. Would highly recommend."
