Hillview Cottage, Alyth, Perthshire Hillview Cottage is a former shepherd's cottage belonging to Thorn Farm, just off the A926 Blairgowrie to Kirriemuir road near Alyth. The cottage is reached from the track shown in the picture that starts from Thorn Farm itself and rises north-north-west between the fields. It has been extended and modernised and is used today for holiday lettings.

Had a great stay in Dundee. We were upgraded to a large room on the corner of the top floor, overlooking the Tay. The bar was cheerful, the pool and sauna were a welcome luxury, and the whole place had a pleasant buzz about it.
