“A great wee find. Welcoming, cheery staff and a clean, tidy room. Food options were all good, and the fish was delicious and fresh. Happy to recommend and return”

“We had to change rooms for the second night due how I booked the 2 night stay at the last minute - my fault. But must admit I was glad to move as the first night in the cottage across the car park was very noisy with unhappy guests (one off ? ) and banging doors (big sign on door - so regular occurrence?) ! Spent next night over the bar - I used earplugs! Some of the staff were delightful but unfortunately my first encounter was a French lady in the bar who was obtuse to say the least. I...

“We stayed for 2 nights & loved it! Such friendly staff, the food was delicious, the bed was comfortable & we had a great time! Our server at breakfast was so funny & chatty which we enjoyed. Breakfast was probably the best cooked full Scottish I’ve had in a long time. We would definitely go back. Also, the music in the bar doesn’t stop until 11pm so we could hear it from our room but it...

“The Shower was not working and was not fix while we were there.”

“Room was comfortable and the pub downstairs had great food and drinks choices and staff very friendly. Breakfast was great as well.”

“The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was well presented and delicious . The room was spotless, bed very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.”

“Everyone was so friendly and helpful .. right from John the owner to Marnie our waitress our first dinner there .. she was excellent!”

“Very welcoming staff, lovely setting and food”

“Niki could not do enough for you. Nothing was a bother. Excellent food and staff. Room was lovely. Excellent location for travellers who would like to explore Auchterarder, Dunblane, Stirling, Bridge of Allan and Gleneagles. Thoroughly recommend.”

“Amazing place. We had a very relaxing stay.”

“Excellent property directly opposite the port. Old buildings as expected, but beautifully refurbished. My room was large, spotlessly clean and full of nice touches, including lots of tabletops and drawers. The big surprise was the bathroom. It was enormous with a large modern soaker tub, separate shower stall, wc and vanity. (The only downside is trying to find a parking spot which is very difficult throughout this town, so be prepared to drop off, or walk with your luggage.) The restaurant...

“Special place. Beach-view room is a must. Great breakfast.”

“Arrived late but was attended to out of hours and the staff were helpful and nice throughout.”
