“A great wee find. Welcoming, cheery staff and a clean, tidy room. Food options were all good, and the fish was delicious and fresh. Happy to recommend and return”

“We had to change rooms for the second night due how I booked the 2 night stay at the last minute - my fault. But must admit I was glad to move as the first night in the cottage across the car park was very noisy with unhappy guests (one off ? ) and banging doors (big sign on door - so regular occurrence?) ! “The Shower was not working and was not fix while we were there.”

“Niki could not do enough for you. Nothing was a bother. Excellent food and staff. Room was lovely. Excellent location for travellers who would like to explore Auchterarder, Dunblane, Stirling, Bridge of Allan and Gleneagles. Thoroughly recommend.”

“Very welcoming staff, lovely setting and food”

“A nice stay again. Short stop en route to Glasgow. Lovely meal in the evening with pleasant staff. Room spacious and comfortable”

“Everything was great at The Oak Tree Inn! Staff were wonderful (especially Kay) so friendly and welcoming! The pub was so nice with a cozy fire. Our food and drinks were great. Our room had a great view of the water and the sunset.”

“Great, clean room with wonderful breakfast included.”

“Room was comfortable and the pub downstairs had great food and drinks choices and staff very friendly. Breakfast was great as well.”

“Excellent hostel! I stayed in the Court - I’m a light sleeper and even with earplugs, I woke often as people were coming and going at all hours of the night. Disturbances would likely be less in the other rooms. The facilities, social aspect of the hostel and the staff were top notch! They have activities each day to connect you with others. As a solo traveller, it was incredible and more reason to stay in a hostel. Price was great for Edinburgh and the location cannot be beat!”

“Very attentive staff.”

“Arrived late but was attended to out of hours and the staff were helpful and nice throughout.”

“Everyone was so friendly and helpful .. right from John the owner to Marnie our waitress our first dinner there .. she was excellent!”
