“The house is just lovely. Quiet, peaceful, comfortable and beautifully appointed. The host was invested in making us feel welcomed and well-taken care of. He suggested places to eat, walks and things to do and all were excellent. The accommodations were impeccably maintained. We slept very well. Breakfast was fresh, healthy and quite delicious. “Had a great night stay in this old-looking building. The deco inside the building is very Scottish. The room came with 2 sparkling water and chocolate snack. One minus point is the clothes hanging place is small, there’s no cupboard. The location is 15min drive to Stirling Castle. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Murrayshall. This was our second visit, having stayed around 18 months ago in the wintertime. It was nice to see the hotel at a different time of year, but the rooms, staff and excellent dinner in Eilos remained the same. A very good stay. The only thing that could have been better was breakfast - it seemed a little disorganised. ”

“Meikleour Arms is a unique inn on a large estate (hence "Arms," which refers to the coat of arms of the estate owner. Cozy inn, delicious meals (venison from the estate, for instance), lots of personality. We loved staying here, and fishing with Ian, the "ghillie" who put me onto a beautiful sea trout and taught me how to cast a spey rod. ”
