Honestly, the rooms are a little bit cramped and dirty. But overall, the hospitality was very nice and a great location by two tram stops, one that takes you right into the central city.

Breakfast was decent - not the biggest of breakfast rooms but we had no issues. Choice of hot and cold items. Courtesy drinks were very welcome - both alcoholic and soft drinks. Renovations were on going at the time of our stay - it didnโ€™t impact on us other than the lift was out of action. Stairs were steep up to 3rd floor but manageable. Staff were very welcoming and knew their stuff. The QR code on the map supplied gave us discounts off a lovely canal cruise.
View from the balcony. Not sure Iโ€™d book a balcony if I stayed again as the view is just of peopleโ€™s houses.
Stairs! We managed them. Some renovations going on at the time of our visit and lift was out of action.
Enjoyed a couple of courtesy drinksโ€ฆ nice gesture. Staff were very helpful and polite. They worked hard!

The property is quite old and the rooms would surely enjoy a refurbishment. The carpet and the wallpaper is a little vintage, and I heard ome of my colleagues didn't have a window in their room. A little odd. However... I found the rooms clean. The staff was very nice and supportive all the time. The complimentary snacks and drinks in the lobby were a nice plus. Breakfast was very complete and delicious. The hotel is a 15 minute walk away from the city center but the location is calm. Overall, I had a great stay and a great night rest after long days at a conference.รง Thank you

Definitely recommend! Great staff, great breakfast

This was our first trip to Amsterdam. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Gave us lots of advice about trams, markets ect and even a map to help us get around. The breakfast is very good. The rooms were comfortable and the hotel itself is a short walk from a large market and the Reiks museum. Its also near lots of restaurants so I think it's in a good location. The desk staff were brilliant, thank you for helping us!
