Liked the location very convenient for the city center. They also did a very nice breakfast which was included. Rooms were pretty small but that may well be typical for these types of hotels in older buildings.

Good location walking distance to Central station. Breakfast included was okay not excellent. The room was not as pictured. Bed was sagging and the two singles were different heights so pushing them together was uncomfortable. The bed sheets barely covered the mattress The towels were very thin and old.

The Delta is a good 3-star hotel very well situated between Central Station and Dam Square, Handy also for the number 2 tram which seems to go to most of the places you would want to see on a short trip like ours. Lovely friendly staff.

You don’t get much for your money in Amsterdam because everyone want to go there! and the Delta proves that point. Firstly the good bits - super central, good staff, very basic but clean. I had a room at the back so it was also nice and quiet. The not so good bits? No air con so impossible to sleep in the heat. I had a fan but it didn’t help much, also no window to let in any air. Might stay again, just never in the summer time.

The hotel is just a 7–8 minute walk from the train station, with a great fries shop right next door and a seafood restaurant across the street that serves excellent food. However, the room is quite small, and the bedding didn’t feel very comfortable.

We visited Amsterdam on August 7-9, 2026. It was cool at night but dummy and warm by mid day until 8 pm or so. The Delta Hotel is a short walk (less than 10-minutes once you get oriented to the correct direction) from the Amsterdam Central Train Station. Our room was on the 5th floor. The lift only went up to the 4th floor so you had to climb up another flight of stairs to get to our room. Our room was clean, it was a “double room” with twin beds! The room had a full bathroom which was nice! The toilet was mounted very high off the floor. I’m only 4’10” so it was a struggle to sit on it. Even for hubby, who is 5’10” it was a bit high. There was a large window you could open to get some air (no A/C in this hotel). Unfortunately when you opened the window you hear all of the street noise. It was so crowded… hundreds and hundreds of people walking up n down the streets. Drinking and smoking and yelling, horns honking, e-buses and e-trains all night until 3 am. At 5 am the street sweeper & cleaners and garbage trucks start working and yelling and honking horns! So your voice it to sweat with the window closed or listen to all the noise all night and morning. At 6 am the rising sun shines in your face! This is the perfect hotel for younger people who want to party in Amsterdam!

All in all the hotel is ok not like the pictures but lets be honest it doesn't really matter what it looks like, it was clean just dated. Its in a perfect location right in the middle of everything and about 2 min walk to the station.

Hotel is in the center of the main street with lots of pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Close to central rail station and tourist boats. Across the street and down the narrow streets their are plenty of shops, bars and food venues as well as access to the red district. Hotel is an older building with narrow stairs and small elevator. Breakfast is included, generous and well look after. Rooms are small with minimal furnishings, good for short stays. Quiet at night with 24 hr front desk.
