Loved this place - pricey for a solo traveller. I wish I had taken advantage of the highlights in the area. Would recommend to friends and family. No breakfast option was totally fine .. did not realize I could store things in their refrigerator if I decided to eat something light in. Too much to see and do in Amsterdam - would come back. I had a really lovely experience staying here. The gentleman that checked me in was very nice, professional and helped me when I needed an ice pack for an injury. My room was upgraded which was a very nice surprise, the shower and products were awesome. I also liked that it was close to Heineken and fairly close to a metro station. The only down side was that the building is very old and therefore the stairs/floors can be quite loud with people coming and going so I would suggest earplugs. There was seemingly also no AC in my room, it wasn’t too hot but I did need to use the fan they provided to sleep at night.

What a beautiful, spacious room! Great location, slightly away from the busy centers so you can rest, but close enough to jump right in when you’re ready! Very close to easy transport that takes you right into Dam Square and Central Station. I came in from the train and it was very easy to get to the hotel from public transit. One word of caution, the building is older so there is only 1 lift (small) and very steep stairs. Would not recommend for ADA.

Great place. Quiet despite being in a major city. Friendly staff. The receptionist was happy to lend me an iron and an adapter for electronics. Smallish but good rooms. It's nice to stay in a hotel that isn't part of one of those international chains.

Really enjoyed my stay here! It’s located in a quiet area, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the city. Everything was super clean and recently renovated, giving it a fresh and comfortable vibe. The staff were really nice and helpful throughout my stay. And as a lovely touch, they even gave me a little gift at checkout. Such a thoughtful gesture! Would definitely stay here again.
