The property is well maintained and the staff friendly. The location is very good - for me probably a 4.8 out of 5. Bed comfortable and everything clean. The issue is it is small. Now I am used to smaller sized hotels in Europe - I know we are not in the huge rooms of the US - I am very well traveled all over Europe and the world. This “double” was I am sure the smallest “double” I have ever stayed in. - my next destination was Paris and a “double” at a boutique hotel (for a little less per night is small but very comfortable and “much bigger”). Now also while I understand Amsterdam is most certainly not an inexpensive city for hotels- the price vs. the size was honestly just silly. Value is not there for me. 3 stars is generous only because of location, condition, and staff.

The room was comfortable and well‑equipped, providing everything needed for a compact Amsterdam‑style hotel room. The location of the hotel was excellent, with everything within walking distance. The surrounding area felt very calm and safe. Buses and trams are close by, and you can reach the hotel from the airport with a single direct bus. The breakfast was good, although a bit more variety would have been great. The staff were friendly and professional throughout the stay. I would recommend this hotel if you prefer a smaller hotel with an excellent walking location near the city centre, close to the Museum Quarter and Vondelpark.

Intimate room in a convenient location

Our room was very small but clean and we basically just slept there so it was okay. The location and very helpful and welcoming staff were great. If you’re going to keep yourself out touring the city all day then it is a great place at a reasonable price.
