“For us, just a one-night stay, but we arrived about 4pm on a Sunday afternoon, to find this is an extremely popular venue for Sunday lunches. The menu continued into the evening and we were able to see why it's so popular. A great meal, and then a lovely cooked breakfast the next morning. The room, facilities and bed were all comfortable and all in all, we had made a good choice in a quiet rural location.”

“Very clean, newly refurbished pub in a good location with interesting artistic decorations by local artist who owns the property. Good base to explore this part of the Wales/England border. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We ate at the pub both nights and evening meal was also very good. Lovely staff. Parking seemed to be no problem, either in pub's very small car park or on roads in village.”

“The cabin was warm and comfortable
It was well equiped.
The road getting to it was narrow but manageable with care. The road surface was good.
The view from the front was amazing.
We enjoyed our stay very much. ”

“We were walking a section of the Offas Dyke footpath and this was an ideal place to stop for the night. The room was basic but clean and comfortable and the breakfast was really nice. Very close to Oswestry for lots of evening meal options. The Lime Kiln is great value for money would thoroughly recommend.”
