“The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the stay was wonderfully quiet, the towels were soft, smelled terrific, and amazingly absorbent. The absolutely best part I almost overlooked in my hurry to travel further down the road: the coffee service in the room was absolutely fantastic! It was thd best self-brewed room service coffee I have had anywhere! I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler, and I would definitely stay there again!”
“The Guest House in Carthage is your basic 1960’s Motel that has been renovated with updated interiors and a good kiss of maintenance on the outside. Everything was clean. Nothing was particularly special, but it was what I needed near the end of a long motorcycle journey. The gentleman who checked me in was professional, kind, and polite, even lending me his carport to protect my bike from the elements and provide a modicum of security.
I would definitely stay there again and recommend it...
“The only thing that irritated me is we had a large wedding party and when we all got back I was reprimanded for blowing a whistle weakly twice when we got back it was a thing at the wedding we did and it was not 10pm yet and other than that we were not very noisy being g we had so many people and it was an older lady in the evening and she just wasn't pleasant..if your going to work I hospitality then you have to have the customer service character to do it..we rented alit of rooms for this...
“It was very good for what we needed to attend a family funeral in Carthage, MO. Staff was great. Parking right in front of our door. Located near shopping for anything you might need. Good luck to the new management. We thank you helping us during a sad time. Travelers from Rhode
