The location is stunning, it is breathtaking to be right on the lagoon. I really enjoyed the layout of the rooms and how the entire property was very eco-friendly. Unfortunately, upon arrival there was nobody at the reception to greet us, which was a bit unsettling since we were in the middle on the jungle with no cellular service. Furthermore, the cost of the food/beverages at the restaurant are quite elevated in comparison to the rest of Bacalar. There is no type of room service/phone to contact the reception. The communication with the hotel host is handled exclusively through WhatsApp. In case you fall ill it might be difficult to get access to medications which could be potentially dangerous. Additionally, the rooms are quite close in proximity and the noise volume can be quite high at some points. In addition, the cost of boat tours or extra amenities is much greater than those outside the hotel. However, there is free access to paddle boarding from 9am- 5pm.I believe the hotel is a very special place however, the price for the night does not reflect what guests are provided with.

The hotel is a great place to get away from the world and relax overlooking the amazing lagoon. The rooms are like you are glamping with an outdoor shower and ok a/c. The staff are lovely. The restaurant served a mix Middle Eastern and Mexican food. Good healthy choices, but expensive. You also don’t sit by the lakeside but in a separate jungle space, which is odd as they have a pretty restaurant by the water that we ate at on the first night and then were told was only open on Saturdays. Finally your car is a 5 minute ride by golf buggy from the hotel complex which means that you can’t just pop out if you want to.

Wonderful oasis of relaxation right in the middle of the jungle by the lagoon. Very courteous and attentive staff, great amenities and clean room! Love the shala and classes offered. Food is also fresh and delicious. Facials are recommended. Would definitely go back!

What a fantastic place to stay in Bacalar! The paddle boarding, the swimming, the yoga, the massages, and the staff were all amazing! We loved the activities and enjoyed everything about this little oasis on the lake!

Very beautiful property. I loved that it was peaceful and that the lagoon was easily accessible. Breakfast was delicious. The only thing, is I wish their were more dinner options but other than that, it was a delightful stay.

Very peaceful retreat on Lake Bacalar. I enjoyed all the wellness centered activities. The food was excellent and the staff amazing. Between the A frame design and the outdoor shower, we were sold. Highly recommend.

Loved everything about this place. Peace and quiet. Great service. You can get picked up on their dock for great private boat tours. Good was delicious. We went from Cancun to Bacalar in the Mayan Train and the hotel helped us with the transportation from and to the train station. I also recommend the mayan train.
