"This so far has been the worst hotel during our long trip to Asia. The hotel is closed to a mosque and everyday we were woken up at 4:30 am during the praying call. It was not disclose to us and to anyone who is a light sleeper it was not so good. I didn’t have a good sleep for my tour the next day and end up with a huge migraine. The hotel does have a policy to charge you for extra towels. I’ve never been to a hotel that charges extra for towels!!!"

"There is constant noise pollution and rooms are not sound proof. The rooms are in need of a makeover and serious deep clean. Areas such as the bathroom shower had green buildup and toilet seats were beige in color from age. Two of the major issues that I encountered in my two week long stay at the property was poor wifi service and inconsistent hot water availability. These are major problems that the hotel management needs to address."

"I stayed for a week and used this place as my base to explore the sites in and around Yogyakarta. It is conveniently situated for the airport and Borobudur. It is a haven of peace and the views are breathtaking. My room (Royal Stone House) was spacious and well appointed, with a fridge, a kettle and a safe deposit box. The bed was very comfortable. The staff went out of their way to ensure that my stay was perfect. The breakfast selection is great. I would stay again. Recommended."
