"Novotel is a very attractive modern and clean hotel, located right off Malioboro, and in close proximity to the train station and the Malioboro mall. My room was very appealing and comfortable, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I would certainly stay here again."

"The best part about this hotel is the location we’re in the middle of the action everywhere. The bathroom was very small and tiny and definitely needs an upgrade despite the room upgrade that we were promised. The Wi-Fi kept continually needing to be reconnected. For some reason seems like the restaurant and the laundry, etc. are all out Source so we could not charge it to the room Meaning we have to pay cash. I was surprised how expensive hotels were considered. It’s not a huge city."

"This hotel felt like it was supposed to be fancy but really missed the mark in a number of areas. There were some big stains on our bed linens; the bathroom faucet ran brown, possibly rusty, water for the first 5 minutes after turning it on; they advertised a poolside bar but no one seemed to work there or know how to serve or charge for drinks. That said, the staff was kind, the location was perfect, and the breakfast was outstanding. "
