An eye and ear opening pleasure to stay at the hotel right on the world renowned Las Ramblas. Small but convenient room with good bathroom. Value for money given location not to mention nostalgia. Staff to a person superb.

My son and I stayed in this hotel after our cruise trip. I would like to give some pros & cons, what we found. pros: location is extremely convivence to walk for shipping or to metro station to go on attraction. breakfast was included, it's typical complimentary with eggs, bread, fruit, cereal, coffee...if you are not picky. room is extremely clean. staff are very polite. cons: hotel is old, you can hear any noise or people talking from next room or upstairs walking. (image old apt type) bed is not stable when I sit in one corner, all bed was lift up (I almost fall to floor..).... then I quick check the bedframe, then found that there is one bed leg didn't screw tie, so it moved.

We enjoyed the location and the staff is so friendly. The breakfast that was included was great. It is noisy and a little unsafe neighborhood but what do you expect for being on La Rambla Street!

This hotel is in a superb location for shopping, eating, and accessing the harbor. It was built in 1849 and was a very fashionable and well known hotel selection at its peak. Those days are gone, but we were very satisfied with the location and services, and our room was very comfortable.

We stayed here before and after our cruise out of Barcelona! They were so accommodating with us. Let us keep our luggage there to wander the city before and after and any questions we had about transport they were more than willing to help! They even had an open room and allowed us to check in early (unexpected but super helpful!) We had an issue with a light in our bathroom and they fixed it while we were out for the day! Would highly recommend!!
