“Our stay at the Best Western Merry Manor Inn was great. Centrally located between Portland and Old Orchard Beach, it provided us a convenient place to stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The amenities were great. The pools were clean. Our room window faced the pool area. There was a group of students that were there for a trip that were a little loud in the pool area but the sound wasn’t all that bad. The breakfast area wasn’t too crowded with the students in the hotel and had some good...

“everything was gross, from the stained bedding with weird black flakes to the nasty odor coming from the AC. food smeared on the carpets in the hallways and dirt and debris piling in the elevator. Staff were pleasant.”

“The big plus is how close it is to the beach. There’s also the pool that can be used now that it’s the same owner as the neibhoring motel. But the beds aren’t comfortable. The carpet is such a bad idea with the humid weather abd the sand from the beach. The electric outlets in the room are loose, the mini fridge kept shutting off because the plug wasn’t okay. If you are not looking for comfort, but just a great location, this is an okay choice.”
