“The Sheets were terrible. All pilled. I asked for other ones, they showed up to my room with another set that were even worse. I brought them to the front desk in the morning and they agreed that they were unacceptable. I asked to speak to the manager- they said she wasn't in and I should call later- several calls later and finally after 3 weeks she finally got back to me with an email saying she was sorry I wasn't happy with the sheets! so much for customer service!”

“For those looking to be in the center of the Old Port district, the Regency couldn't be better situated. Portland is a walkable city, and the hotel is in an ideal spot. My (standard) room wasn't spacious, but it was clean and attractive. I would recommend to the management that they find a chair that's comfortable for reading, TV, relaxing - mine was unusually uncomfortable. There should also be a small table/desk for one's things, laptop, etc. The hotel's breakfast was superb - a handsome...
