“Very comfortable hotel ideally placed seven minutes to the railway station and directly on the Royal walk to the hoe would definitely stay again”

“All good”

“Did not look like much from the outside, but was well presented on the inside and parking was, let’s say interesting. Contact the hotel beforehand to ensure a space. The desk staff could not have been kinder, including taking our many pieces of luggage up to the third floor (no elevator) The room was large, comfortable, and well laid out for women travelers (a dressing table with mirror and plugs for a hairdryer- an issue at many of the places we have stayed in). “Very friendly and kind staffs. Wonderful breakfast.”

“An excellent location and the friendly, helpful staff make this a very nice place to stay. Also worth coming to for those looking for the English hotel experience. Grade 2 listed building, winding stairs, and lots of charm. Breakfast was included and was a nice start to the day. The bed was comfortable, and we had no issues with water pressure despite being on the top floor.”

“Perfect”

“This is the second time I’ve stayed here. Wonderful boutique hotel. Extremely convenient and squeaky clean. Hospitality amazing. I’ll always be a repeat client.”

“Clean room, helpful staff, appropriate amenities. Parking was a little issue but this was outside of the staff’s control and they provided appropriate alternative parking as our initial space was taken by a member of the public”

“Apartment was really nice. Clean, great views, comfortable beds, fresh milk in the fridge. Unfortunately we were greeted by a very rude man who made the check in process very awkward which was a great start. ”

I understand that homelessness is a serious issue, but as a paying hotel guest, I expected the surroundings and overall atmosphere of the hotel to feel more welcoming and secure. The service was also very poor. The following morning, my wife and I went for breakfast and there was nobody available to assist us for more than five minutes....

“Good central location. Clean and good facilities. Fine for a couple of nights. Centrally located with plenty within easy walking distance. Let down by poor checking process where I was outside the property but with no instructions. Had to call thankfully all quickly resolved.”

“Excellent location for Horle or Barbican”

“Staff was easily approachable and good communication”
