"Great value. They’ve done a great job of renovating (now 100% complete. Very comfortable, no complaints. Very convenient location. This is our go to place to stay and will definitely return next year. The new management were very nice and friendly (unlike the previous). It is a pet friendly property, so is an extra value (albeit we didn’t bring our dog). Highly recommend."

"Wonderful hotel. Breakfast was made to order. Very close to ocean, aquarium, and Carmel. It was a little loud. You could hear the cars outside and there seemed to be a party going on most nights at the restaurant."

"Room was spacious and breakfast was nice. Arrived late and didn't get to use the pool, but it looked like others were enjoying it. The tile shower had a bit of a leaking issue onto the bathroom floor, but otherwise everything was perfect. Would stay here again."

"With all things California and the cost to do anything there, I put this review in the perspective it was expensive and a bit overpriced at this location for rooms. The units were next to a busy road, you could hear every noise from flushing and showers running and was not east access to its corner location. Overall the two day stay was average and no issues except listed above, if I were to stay in Monterey again I would choose another location."
