“The hotel was really lovely compared to others in the area. We walked to the tower from our hotel it took 40 mins. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. We could see the sea from our room, the pleasure park backed on to the back of the hotel it was spectacular. Breakfast was lovely for £19 per person I would recommend this hotel for your stay. The tram is across the main road to the left To get to the tower they only take card payment.”

The hotel itself is undergoing some major refurbishment which did not impact our stay in disturbance. The only impact was no bar was available but they had a solution (you can use the bar in the next door property) the rooms were clean, habitable and comfortable. “This wonderful hotel truly welcomes dogs by providing dog bowls, a special cover so the dog can get on the bed and they even provided a dog towel. Our dog was welcome to join us at breakfast where we had a separate table away from the rest and Charlie was given a dog chew. We absolutely loved it and would definitely stay again. It was very comfortable and a great location - thank you ”

“Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains.”

“This is a wonderful place to stay. It has a car park at the rear and 3 parking spots at the front. It is very secure with a personal PIN provided before book in for the doors. Very clean and smart. “Fabulous three nights spent at this gem of a guest house. Steve and Elaine were perfect hosts, going above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Lovely breakfast with lots of choice, room and bathroom were as good as they could be. Comfortable bed and powerful shower (always a must in my book) were spot on. Parking available for a decent price. The Arthington is a winner in Blackpool and fully deserves all its plaudits.”
