"Great location opposite train station and walkable to eateries and shopping.Very comfortable bed. Room was nicely decorated but a luggage rack would be handy and a couple of hooks in bathroom. staff were pleasent and helpful"

"Second time we’ve stayed here and it works well for our family of 5 with one toddler who sleeps with us. I like the old world cozy feel. One thing that could be improved is communication because we were travelling late at night and had a very late check in but hotels.com didn’t send us check in instructions how to get into the property I had a hard time finding the check in message until I actually went into the app to message the property and that’s when I found it. It should have been emailed to me with the booking confirmation and that would’ve avoided a few moments of panic at midnight. I did try to call at around 7pm but the phone line doesn’t work."

"Beautiful old hotel with loads of character and mountain charm. As with all older buildings they need maintenance to keep up there beauty…the Hydro Majestic could do with some minor repairs to maintain its historic charm. Definitely worth a stay and a casual drink at the Belgravia Bar next to fireplace."
